We keep all records relating to the items you have framed with us. Our database stretches back to 1992, and our QUT records as far back as 1990. Our records enable us to replicate previously framed items accurately.

Client's Responsibility
When framing we treat all items as valuable. However the consultants at Matisse Framing are not art valuers, therefore we request it necessary for our clients to inform us if their artwork is valuable. The value of an item can determine the method by which we will advise it should be framed.

Vacuum Press and Ademco Press

These allow us to mount items either by a cold or hot process. We can mount and laminate photos or prints. Various laminating films are available. Be creative and mount these to canvas and have that special look that is quite different. Laminated prints on canvas can look like a canvas painting

Computerised Matcutting.

Creative designs – designs what others cannot.

We have had for some years one of the worlds most advanced computer matcutters. The accuracy with which this machine cuts a huge range of shapes has to be seen to be believed. We can create innovative designs or multi openings and these can be saved for future ongoing orders. We do cutting for those doing scrapbooking. Our photos show what is possible.
